Create a collage of photos superimposed on one another that convey a particular meaning or emotion.
My four images (samples of them at least):

The images included header text, two borders, the product, and a background image.
My overall task is to create a website theme and layout. My immediate task is to help my client Masion De Kristine to finish a e-mail newsletter template to promote her products over Christmas.
With our 4 different images our goal is to convey the user's feeling as though they are in a French Country Home. Not only do we want them to be there, but have a feeling of comfort that would make them feel as though they were home. In this e-mail template I would like the collage to be professional, but still have personality. I would like it to have energy but still be comforting.
Most of all, I would like to showcase the Masion De Kristine products and branding/logo. I was given these images by my client. For this collage I did my best to achieve these goals, as well as satisfy the assignment requirements.
The Process:
First, I started with the background and tried a few colors out behind a transparent layer. I then touched up the inky spots on the image and cut each part out into it's own layer to easily resize and move without disrupting the other elements. I then created a logo using the text heading and one of my borders to showcase the brand. I messed around with this a long time until it was bright, artsy, and professional. Next, I did about the same thing with the products and the last border. The background didn't look very good, so I duplicated a corner and took out the dragonfly to give the page more symmetry. Next, we need text to inform the user what we are all about. I chose the same text that we used for the heading and kept it a bright energetic color. I plan to use this as a e-mail message so I used a neat and subtle trick to make the background look like parchment but lightening the edges of the background and changing the fill color of the artwork.
After a lot of adjustments and color changes I think it came well:
